Q1: What is CrossFit to you?
A1: It started out as my way to get healthy, but it’s evolved into much more than that. It’s my time to relax my mind, enjoy friendships made, ease stress and enjoy the community…and I guess a way to get healthy.
Q2: What do you love about CrossFit?
A2: .Being able to do things I haven’t done in years. Plus seeing Kael, my son, want to be more involved with Oly has been a blessing, I can’t wait to see how far he goes.
Q3: What do you love about CrossFit Bothell?
A3: The community is the best, hands down. I can remember when I was looking for a box to join I checked out a couple and when I met Jeff and the other at CFB I knew where my I going to go. And the coaches are pretty awesome too….
Q4: What’s your biggest accomplishment at CrossFit thus far?
A4: .Lifting heavy things… Breaking past the 350# on my backsquat.
Q5: What is the goal you are working on at CrossFit?
A5: 400#’s on my deadlift and backsquat… I will get there this year!
Q6: What’s your favorite thing to do at CrossFit?
A6: Olympic Lifting.. Doing some Joe Mills workouts are the best… Next to that is backsquats.
Q7: What’s your favorite thing to do outside the gym?
A7: That’s easy… Skydiving is my other passion. Flying in the air is second to none.
Q8: If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
A8: An Eagle.. Being in the air without a care in the world…
Q9: What’s the greatest band ever? (Editor Note: the only right answer to this question is METALLICA)
A9: Duh… Metallica.. Then AC/DC, then you gotta jump to Johnny Cash…
Q10: What’s your favorite cheat meal?
A10: Pizza… It’s a weakness of mine.. Nothing like a good home made wood fired Pizza…
Q11: What is your CrossFit story and what has CrossFit done for you since you have been coming?
A11: When I started looking into crossfit I was just looking for some where to workout. So much has changed since then, I’ve developed friendships, seen others overcome what they thought was impossible, broke my own weightlifting PR’s from 20 years ago and have found my calm every day before I get home. I look forward to staying with this community for some time to come.
